When did you start modeling? How old were you? 

When I was 24 I was scouted in the gym while being on vacation in Cape Town South Africa. Before that I never thought to be a model, so I guess I’m quite lucky.

 

 

For what brand/photographer was your first shoot? 

It was a campaign for Polo South Africa brand, really cool shoot to be my first.

 

 

 

 

How does an average ‘workweek’ look like for you?

 Well if it doesn’t include catching a plane or train to make it shoots in different locations, I’m attending a lot of meetings as I also have my own business specialising in the finance industry and too many other projects :)

 

 

What are the pro’s and con’s of modeling for you?

 

 Pro’s, just everything about it, the traveling, the great people you meet, the wonderful teams at the agencies (especially at Euromodels ), and the creative fun in creating great pictures. And I would say that even there are very few cons, one would be that it can sometimes get a bit lonely as you travel alone and not enough time to get to know all the people you get to meet.

 

 

What is the best job you’ve ever done? 

 This is too hard to choose just one, there have been so many that were all uniquely the best experiences!

 

 

What are the pics you are the most proud of?

 This is also very hard to choose one, but I must say that I am still in love with this picture taken in Norway by Julio Salas.

 

 

How do you stay healthy & fit? What sports do you like? 

Well I love to run so I do that at least once a day (everyday), and I enjoy skateboarding and yoga whenever I get the extra time.

 

 

What is your absolute favorite destination in the world? 

Definitely Costa Rica!

 

 

What’s your favorite fashion brand?

 If I had to choose one, I would say Paris based Jacquemus.

 

 

What’s your favorite meal? 

Just a simple and traditional Ragu Pasta!

 

 

Favorite item in your closet?

 It’s hard one, but I would say right now its my custom made Hooka running shoes.

 

 

What’s your guilty pleasure?

 Good good chocolate, but I’m Belgian so it's actually part of the diet 

 

 

What music do you like? Fav song?

 I love pretty much love the whole spectrum of music, but have a real deep love for hip hop. And if I had to choose one song, it would be Jasmine by Jai Paul.

 

 

What are you passionate about?

 Life!! Haha I’m just really passionate about every single day we have on this wonderful planet, and also passionate about doing my part to make it better place for everyone else.

 

 

What makes you happy?

 Definitely watching Mr Bean and eating ice cream when I get the flu (which happens way too often)

 

 

Name one thing you really good at 

Hmmm I guess I’m good at never being stressed, I think it’s been 10 years since I got stressed.

 

 

Name one thing you're really bad at

 Hmm I guess that would be stressing, hahah I suck at that, but that's a good thing I think.

 

 

How do you balance your work and personal life? 

Well, I don’t, I just mix it alll together!

 

 

If you wouldn’t be a model, what would you like to do/be in life?

It would be the same thing I’m doing know, which is working on different business projects with inspirational people.

 

 

What is your goal in modeling? And what are your personal goals? 

Goal in modeling is to keep just having fun with it for as long as I can! Personal goals are quite similar, just want to have fun in everything I do with all my energy and to hopefully be in a position to help as many people as possible!

 

 

Do you have tips for boys who want to become a model?

 I would say, if think you have a chance in the industry, do a bit of research online and then find the nearest agency and just give them a call! So do not overthink and taking the chances they get, and of course to have fun with it always!
